Last year at Sonys event The Future of Gaming. Of course, with games like Resident Evil Village on the horizon, we know they won’t completely abandon their roots in favor of such IPs. Pragmata has been a mystery in the gaming industry, being mistakenly assumed to be Hideo Kojimas next game. Not only does the early footage of the game suggest a compelling sci-fi story and universe, but the truth of the matter is that Capcom has been on a bit of a hot streak recently, and we’re thrilled to see them escape the nostalgia of their established franchises in pursuit of something new. Whether the game will be able to hit that launch window remains to.

While we don’t know quite what to make of Pragmata at this early stage, we’re quite excited to learn more about it. Back when Pragmata was first announced last year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Capcom gave it a rough launch window of 2022. Mega Man, Pragmata Not Shown, Ghouls and Ghosts Resurrection, Strider.
Given the design of the astronaut’s suit and the array of devices at their disposal, we’re not surprised that many jumped to that conclusion. Capcom E3 bingo card with Mega Man Battle Network, Onimusha, Rival Schools. Some even suspected that this could be a trailer for Death Stranding 2 when it first began playing. Many are already comparing the trailer to a Hideo Kojima game due to its general aesthetics and lack of clear explanations. Truth be told, we really have no idea what to make of this footage.
The preview ends with them standing on the moon overlooking Earth as we all start wondering what just happened. Even still, the pair continue to float upwards and eventually reach outer space.
